Joy continues to get many many invitations to exhibit overseas
but prefers to remain in Australia and paint her homeland.
One day she might go away again but her love of the Australian landscape currently keeps her home!

1999 - National Award for Innovation in Local Government - Regional & Economic Development

1993 Australia Day Award - Received for community service, for personal achievement in the arts and encouragement to artists with disabilities in their endeavours to achieve.

1988 "Women in '88 Award" - Presented by the Bicentennial Authority to 1200 women Australia wide for outstanding personal commitment to their chosen field.

1988 Australia Day Award - Presented by the City of Orange and the Australia Day Council for achievements and endeavours in the arts and for community work related to the arts.
